Consider the Lobster talks about the catching of lobsters and the different ways they are cooked. We discussed in class that like most articles, this one was very biased. The author talks about the lobster festivals and the amount of lobsters that are found at the carnival, what goes on at the carnival, and the different ways the lobsters are cooked. We also discussed in class that the author provides a lot of though but also forces you to draw your own conclusions from what he is saying. One way is the title. the author doesn't tell you the meaning behind the title, he wants you to reflect on what you read and relate it to the title of the article and find out what he really means.
